Youth Ministry

Sts. Martha, Mary and Lazarus Parish believes in investing in our next generation. We are excited about the children God has entrusted in our care. From confirmation classes to fun activities, we always have something engaging for our children! Our youth ministers and volunteers have all passed a background check and received training in keeping our children safe.

Our Mission

The mission of our Youth Ministry is to guide our children to answer the call of personal discipleship, evangelization, leadership, and to the Catholic faith through involvement in the life of the Church and the larger community.

Our Purpose

The purpose of Sts. Martha, Mary, and Lazarus Youth Ministry is to:

  • empower young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in our world today.

  • draw young people to responsible participation in the life, mission, and work of the Catholic faith community.

  • nurture the personal and spiritual growth of each young person.

  • provide understanding of the Liturgy and the Sacraments.

  • promote a missionary spirit that will be a Christian presence in society.

Religious Education

Our religious education program provides an environment where children encounter God's loving presence, and encourages them to pursue a life of faith by gaining knowledge through the bible, liturgy, sacraments and prayer.

Youth in Action

We offer many opportunities for youth to engage in activities that are fun, safe, and aligned with our faith. Through group outings, hangouts, meetings, and service within our community, we provide our youth with a practical example of living a Christian life in the 21st Century.

Learning to Serve

Our youth are establishing a foundation of commitment to our faith and learning to live a life that honors God through service to others by participation in Masses as Altar Servers and Lectors, community outreach, and active engagement in our ministries.
